Gov. Aiyedatiwa Bags Double Honour as ‘A gbó ti àgbè1’ and Grand Patron, OSACA

  Ondo State Agricultural Commodities Association,on behalf of Farmers and Agricultural Commodity Associations in the state,on Monday 8th April 2024 honoured the State Governor Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa with the title; A gbó ti àgbè 1 of Ondo State along with his position of Grand Patron of OSACA being the Executive Governor of the State. The award was presented to Mr. Govenor during the flag off of the distribution of 1200 tonnes of maize palliatives and commodities to citizens and farmers. Speaking on behalf of all value chains, the Chairman of the Ondo State Pig Farmers Association Olori Mercy Williams and Pa Idowu Komolafe of the Sheep and Goat value chain thanked Mr. Governor for doing a yeoman’s job.   Members of the Ondo State Agricultural Commodities’ Association (OSACA) on Tuesday, 9th April, 2024 elected new state executive officers to run the affairs of the association for the next 3years. OSACA tasks Aiyedatiwa on egg factory, others

  By Roseline Okakah The Ondo State Agricultural Commodities Association, (OSACA), has called on the Ondo state Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa to ensure that the state Egg Powdered Factory is completed.  The state chairman of the Association, Mr Gbenga Obaweya stated this in an interview with  The Hope  yesterday. Obaweya charged the State government to hasten the completion of the Factory due to its positive impact on the local economy, adding that it would also create employment opportunities. Akeredolu urges youths, retirees to embrace agriculture for nation’s economic growth

Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has urged youths, retired military officers, retired senior public officers and businessmen to go into agricultural practice to improve the nation’s economy. Akeredolu gave the advice at the Ondo State Cocoa Day during the 3rd edition of the Ondo State Agriculture Show and Food Fair held on Thursday in Akure. The programme was organised by the Ondo State Agricultural Commodities’ Association (OSACA) with the theme “Agricultural Commodities: Basic Instruments for Economic and Industrial Revolution.’’ The governor, who was represented by Mr Olayato Aribo, Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, urged retirees to practice agriculture in order not to leave it at the hands of peasant farmers. Ondo Agric Fair: Akeredolu calls for single digit interest rate for famers

Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has called on the Federal Government to urgently design and implement a financial policy to peg the interest rate for farmers and investors at single digits. Akeredolu made the call at the opening ceremony of the 3rd Ondo State International Agric Show and Food Fair 2023 (OSIAFFA) held on Wednesday in Akure. The programme was organised by the Ondo State Agricultural Commodities’ Association (OSACA).
